You and Me

I moved to Utah from Boston in January of this year and boy was it an adjustment! The mountains the open space I had never been this far West before and it was exquisite. I did this painting one the first months I was in Utah, the open air and flowing yellow grass was so new to me. I called this painting "You and Me" because I thought it resembled two spirits resting next to each other regardless of how different one another were. My boyfriend of three years, Aaron has been my support system through these challenging first months while I looked for a job, learned how to deal with leaving all my friends and family, having to pay student loans and not knowing much but that I loved to paint and I loved him. So I thought this was my subconscious showing how different we are but how beautiful we make it.

This painting is up for sale in Local Colors Gallery, Sugar House, Salt Lake City.

32"x 42" Price: $1,250.00
